Race Date: 18th June
Midsummer Mad Dash is the annual 5 mile trail race held by Valley Hill Runners.
“Its a two lap course in the local woodland in High Green which is getting more popular year by year. The course is undulating and challenging however its a lot of fun.”
115 runners took part this year – winners were Bridget Coomber of Denby Dale AC (F55!) in 35:21 and Paul Johnson of Barnsley Harriers in 30:06.
Well done to the five striders present with special mention to Heather who was second lady home.
