The Leek Half is billed as a difficult race with plenty of climbing, but that didn’t put off one brave Strider who finished a fantastic 25th out of 244. The race was won by Nick Tynan of Sale Harriers, in 1:20:19. First woman (41st overall) was Michelle Buckle of Newcastle (Staffs) AC, in 1:38:35.
