Heaton Harriers’ annual Memorial Road Race takes place on a traffic-free course on footpaths around Newcastle’s Town Moor.
Strider Kate Scott made the trip back to her home town for this race and was rewarded with first in her age category (WV55)!
The men’s race was won by Marc Brown (SALFORD HARRIERS) in 30:41 and the women’s race was won by Danielle Smythe (HEATON HARRIERS) in 36:02. There were 506 finishers.
