The Heanor Pudding Run is sponsored by pudding manufacturer Matthew Walker, which is based in the Derbyshire town. This year’s 10k looks to have been a very damp affair, but that didn’t put off solitary Strider Sarah Bannister from collecting her pud, pie and mulled wine!
The race was won by Chris Rainsford of Heanor RC in 32:56, who was fastest out of 1093 finishers. First woman (5th overall) was Gemma Steel of Charnwood AC in 36:47.
