Race Date: 8th July 2019
Hathersage Fell race needs little introduction – held annually as part of its wakes week in early July, 7.3km long with 307m ascent. As with many of the local fell races, it is short and sharp, but you’ll be rewarded with great views once you get to the top. This one ascends Higger Tor before descending back down into Hathersage.
The race was won by Steve Franklin of Totley AC in 29:51, winning female was Megan Wilson of Dark Peak in 34.32. Fifteen Striders ran the race, well done all.
