799 runners finished this year’s Chesterfield Half, including 11 Striders. Race winner was Richard Start of North Derbyshire RC in 1:11:52, over 3 minutes clear of second place. First woman, and 12th overall, was Susan Lewis of Roundhay Runners in 1:24:27.
Robin Lomax forgot to register as a Strider but remembered to run really fast, with a top 20 finish, and Fran Allen’s 1:39 made her 9th woman overall.
