Race Date: Saturday 07/04/18

Wardle Skyline Fell Race, organised by Rochdale Harriers and Athletic Club, is a 7 mile race incorporating 1250ft of ascent on the hills around Wardle, a small village a few miles north of Rochdale.  The race is pre-entry only and costs a mere £5, as do many of these type of races.  It can be run solo or in teams.

This was the 32nd running of the event, 142 competitors took part with Chris Richards of Salford Harriers and AC winning in a time of 48:16.  First lady home was Pauline May of Todmorden in a time of 1:00:54.  Pauline was hot on the heels of our lone Strider representation in Andy Buck, who finished in a time of 1:00:52 for 43rd place.
