Race Date: Tuesday 22nd May 2018
Totley Moor is the third race of the Totley AC race series, and is always popular with Striders and other local clubs. The 6.5 mile route is varied and challenging. An initial road climb is followed by a mixture of moorland footpaths and tricky ups and downs in the woods, and the final lap of the cricket field makes for loud support and some competitive sprint finishes. This year the weather was sunny and cool, with spectacular views across the moors.
26 Striders took part in the race. The men’s race was won by Michael Kenyon of Totley AC with a time of 44:01, and the ladies race was won by our very own Caroline Brock with a time of 51:17 – well done Caroline!
