Race Date: Wednesday 2nd May 2018
Race 2 of the Totley fell race series is the 5.4 mile Tigers Todger from Sheffield Tigers RUFC. A pleasant spring evening enticed 243 runners to take part. The race was won by Steve Franklin of Totley AC in 30.29. The first woman home was Rebecca Robinson of Kendal AC in 35.18.
As per usual this race was well represented by Striders so well done to all participants, but in particular to the women’s team ( Caroline Brock, Alison Barrett and Jeni Harvey) who finished second out of twelve overall. The men’s team finished 7th out of 29.
