Race date: 26th July 2018
Organised by the Stoney Middleton Well Dressing Committee this popular 5.33 mile fell race takes place in the delightful, if rather hilly, countryside near Stoney Middleton. That’s between Calver and Eyam.
It was a very hot and humid evening, so much so that the race committee kindly provided water at the top of the first climb.
We also got hit by a stormy downpour which added a short moment of relief in the sweaty conditions.
213 people completed the race.
1st place went to Harry Holmes in 32:53
1st female went to Striders own Fran Cummins in 41:53
18 Striders completed the race. Extra congratulations to Fran and Amy who bagged podium spots. Well done all.
