Race Date: Thursday 19th July
Sheldon Fell Race is a 4 mile race with a fast start, as runners immediately plummet downhill towards the River Wye. A flat section along the stony riverside path follows before an inevitable tough climb returns runners to the Cock & Pullet pub in Sheldon Village.
121 runners took part this year. The race was won by Joe Oldfield in a time of 25:20 and the first woman home was Gemma Cox in 31:58. Well done to all 6 Striders who took part. Full results can be found here.
