Race Date: Sunday 11th March 2018
The Retford Half Marathon and Fun Run is organised by Retford Athletic Club.
Held under UK Athletics Rules, this popular run attracts approximately 700 entrants each year and is a key fixture for seasoned runners from across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, as well as for others who are taking part in their first half-marathon. Many runners also use it as a warm up to the London Marathon held in April.
The men’s race was won by John Beattie from Newham and Essex Beagles for the 2nd year running in a time of 01:09:00 (gun time). The ladies race was won by Julie Warner in a time of 01:24:08 (gun time).
974 runners ran the race this year, including 20 Striders. Some super speedy times in the results, well done all!
