Race Date: Sunday 21st October 2018
This run utilises tracks, public footpaths and field boundaries from Tickhill to Rossington and back via Wellingley and Stancil.
After six miles of running off road, the route takes an almost traffic free lane back to Tickhill, for the final two miles. The race is mainly off road due to the assistance given by a local farmer who has granted access to a track on his field margins which avoids using the minor lane back to Tickhill and has facilitated the increase of the miles.
147 runners in this 10 mile race, including a good number of Striders. The race winner was Benjamin Harris of Reford in 59.49. The women’s race winner was Adelle Marsden of Kimberworth in 1.14.09.
