Nick Booker manged 21 laps (67.4 miles)finishing second behind the 24 laps (77 miles) amassed by Michael Harrison of Kimberworth Striders who broke the course record. Jayne Macarthur (Sleaford) covered the most distance out of the ladies managing 15 laps (48 miles).

Fortified by piles of food and drink laid on by organisers Team Manvers with marshals aplenty all Nick had to do was muse on the scenery and the problems of runner’s high at 3am. Nick repaid their generosity by giving everybody a 45 minutes head start as he arrived late; at least it wasn’t a 10k.
