Race Date: Saturday 17th March 2018

The weather postponed a number of races over the weekend, however Peakrunners determined the conditions safe enough to put on the 10k. The Half Marathon scheduled for the same day was a victim of the snow.

The conditions were challenging and my hair froze but it was an enjoyable run, well organised and I am now the proud owner of a 10k/half marathon mug.

101 runners took part. The male winner was Daniel Page (Team Mountain Fuel) in 45:00. Female winner was Helen Beck of Wakefield District H & AC in 56.02.
