Race dates: Saturday and Sunday. 15 and 16 December 2018
The Elsecar Running Festival was organised by It’s Grim Up North Running, who organise multi-race events across the North. This event had seven races, five of which featured Striders. Races were run in and around Elsecar Heritage Centre on trails and paths.
Highlights included Arif Ali running his first marathon, a second place for Andrew Norton in the 8k Santa Dash, Cara Hanson getting third female in the 6.7 miler and Striders taking the top five male places in the 6.7 miler. (Congratulations to Regan Hanson for leading the field home!)
