Race date: Saturday 30 June, 2018
The Dambuster 10-Miler runs in association with the Ladybower Trail Marathon that takes place on the same day. It starts at Fairholmes visitor centre and comprises a full circuit of the top two reservoirs in the Derwent Valley (Upper Derwent and Howden), a route that will be familiar to very many Striders as it matches the New Year’s Eve training run. At least nine Striders took part including Frances Barradell, who was third female.
The race was won by Chris Shelton in 58:01.1. First female home was Helen Beck in 1:16:59.2.
