Race date: 16th June 2018
This must be one of the most understated races in the whole of Derbyshire. Barely any advertising, small numbers running and prizes handed out when you cross the finish line!
However the race certainly lives up to its name. 750 feet climb over 3.2 miles with the first mile having most of that climb as you head through fields up to the High Peak Trail. The middle mile undulates through the woods alongside the trail and then a quick last mile all downhill. If you like a short tough race, this is one for you.
Run as part of the Celebrating Cromford weekend and school fayre, there is a great atmosphere around the village and plenty of opportunity for cake and tombolas afterwards.
31 people completed the Cromford Killer
First male was Dan Haworth of Matlock AC in 20.00 (a new course record)
First female was Striders own Fran Cummins in 26.03.
