Race Date: Saturday 14th April 2018

The race started and finished at Hayfield Primary School.  It was really well organised and had lots of car parking.  The organisers were really friendly and there were lots of really helpful marshals all round the course. There were plenty of tea and cakes and you could even order your post race cakes in advance!

Conditions for the race were really good – cool and sunny but still  with plenty of mud around.  The race went up over Middle Moor and along White Brow giving stunning views of Kinder and Kinder Reservoir before turning back at the foot of William Clough.

There were 113 runners. 1st Male was Lee Kemp of Totley AC  in 41:29 and 1st Female was Caz Kay, also of Totley AC in 51:27.  I came 91st in 69:40.  A really enjoyable event.
