A fell race for the fell racing connoisseur, this one – run up a steep hill, run down, fall into a bog, cross the finish line crying. I wouldn’t say it was beautiful or good but it is fell racing, and that’s what i love.

The race was won by Alistair Thornton of Loughborough Uni Orienteering Club in a time of 29:55. First lady was Ruth Jones of Nene Valley Harriers in a time of 37:05.
