Race Date: Wednesday 16th May 2018
The Askern 10K, organised by Askern District RC, has long been a staple on the Striders’ running calendar and 529 runners took to the course with temperatures being thankfully a bit more forgiving.
Although undulating in places the route is normally fast and this occasion proved not be an exception with first male home Andrew Challenger of Hallamshire Harriers in 32:00 and the first lady Helen Cross of York Tri Club in 35:42.
