Race Date: 12th August 2018
A long-standing staple on the race calendar the Askern 10 miler offers a challenging yet fun opportunity to tackle a 10 miler. This year also saw an unexpcted bonus entry into the Spanish South Yorkshire 10 Mile Championship.
First home was Matthew Craig of Hallamshire Harriers in 55:56 with Sarah Lowery of Sheffield Running Club taking the honours for first lady in a time of 01:01:49.
A number of Striders took part, with mentions in dispatches for Ashleigh Barron and Kimberley Batman who finished 1st and 3rd Señor Ladies respectively in the aforementioned 10 Mile Championship.
