On Saturday at 1am Nicole Brown set out with another 212 runners along the West Highland Way, with nearly a quarter of the field not finishing by the cut off on Sunday at noon, she was justifiably proud of her achievement and posted the following on the Facebook group. We felt it was important to make sure this got it’s own results update.
“Yesterday I completed the West Highland Way Race, 95 miles, 14000 feet ascent.
213 started, I was the ‘Final Finisher’ with a time of 34h40 within the cut off of 35 hours.
There was weather. Lots of it. For the final 16 hours I was in full winter kit, although I started in short and a vest!
It was an amazing experience.“
