The esteemed Barnsley Athletic Club organised this delightful potter having shifted it from the traditional Boxing Day slot. Perhaps hoping for times unaffected by Christmas pudding?
182 runners took to the streets with Joe Massingham (Rotherham Harriers) achieving least exposure to the elements in just 30:39. The first woman behind him was Julie Briscoe (Wakefield Harriers) in 33.39.
Our Mr Booker ran as well…. If any other Striders ran, please shout up; there were a lot of “unatt”’s (meaning unattached) in the results.
