Race Date : Sunday 18th June 2017
The Wakefield Full and Half Marathon took place in scorching conditions resulting in a large number of DNFs and people dropping down from the Full to the Half Marathon. The Full Marathon was won by Terence Forrest from Cairngorm Runners in a time of 2:55:17 and 1st lady home was Paula Downing from Mablethorpe RC in a time of 3:36:21. The Half Marathon was won by Jamie Brannan from Stadium Runners in a time of 1:21:58 and 1st lady home was Jenny Watt from Vale Royal AC in a time of 1:28:50.
3 striders braved the heat to complete the Half Marathon.
