Race Date: Sunday 29th January 2017
The Tigger Tor Fell Race – 9.7 miles of Winter fell running with 1600 feet of ascent. It’s the first race in the Striders Fell Championship.
The race was won by Steve Franklin of Totley AC in a time of 1:12:01. The winning lady was Sally Fawcett of Dark Peak in a time of 1:25:48. 380 runners completed the race, of which 35 were Striders.
Particular congratulations to Caroline Brock for being 3rd lady over all. Along with Alison Barrett and Lucy Broom, she was also part of the 3rd placed women’s team. Well done!
