Race Date: Sunday 8th January 2017
It’s time to put on those trail shoes that Santa brought and get ready for the first running adventures of 2017! And what better way to blow away the cobwebs than with some mud and hills. Organised by St Theresa’s Athletic Club, the sold-out event Temple Newsam 10 (The TNT) is an off-road multi-terrain 10 mile race starting and finishing in the beautiful grounds of Temple Newsam House.
The course is mainly bridle and country paths covering areas of the estate that you wouldn’t normally see. There are stunning views of the 17th Century House and gardens designed and re-landscaped by Capability Brown. The course also takes in the nearby nature reserve, lakes and canals that form part of the Woodlesford navigation.
