Race Date: Sunday 14th May 2017

This New Half Marathon trail is another first for Marathon Trails UK and a first for Sherwood Pines. The route takes in the great scenery the forest has to offer plus some areas most don’t even know exist.  ​

The race was a sell out and had 162 runners on the day including lone Strider, Sheena Woodhead. Well done Sheena. The elevation map shows a gain of 262.73m so slightly undulating.

The race was won by Ryan Wallace, unattached, in 1.27.30. The first woman home was Nicola Roper, unattached, in 2.00.02.
