Race date:  Sunday 10^th September 2017

The South Huddersfield Trail and Road Series is organised to support various local charities and the series includes the Shepley 10 k race.  Unsurprisingly, it takes place in and around Shepley which has Abbey Road South (A629) running through it.  No connection to a rather veteran and sadly depleted pop group, of course.

140 runners took part with Tom Jagger of Stadium Runners coming home in 38:22.  The first woman home in overall 17^th place was Lynn Birchall, also of Stadium Runners in 44:35.

Our very own Tom Meager came in an excellent 3^rd place – well done, Tom.
