offTRAC10-10 [10 Mile or 10 KM] 10 Year Anniversary Event

Organised by Tickhill Running and Athletic Club, this run utilises tracks, public footpaths and field boundaries from Tickhill to Rossington and back via Wellingly and Stancil.

The race is mainly off road due to the assistance given by a local farmer who has granted access to a track on his field margins which avoids using the minor lane back to Tickhill and has facilitated the increase of the miles.

The route is almost flat and therefore fast – with a cash prize of £60 given to the first runner to complete the 10 mile race in less than 60 minutes. There’s an incentive to run a little faster.

The race was won by Benjamin Harris of Retford AC in 00.58.47.  First lady home was Lindsy James of Kimberworth Striders in 01.10.45

Seven Striders finished the 10 mile version of the race, well done to all.
