Race Date: Sunday 7th May 2017
The Head Start Rother Valley 10k, now in its eighth year, is a fast, flat 10k held at Rother Valley Country Park on paths well known to any parkrunners and for a great charity in Neurocare.
Race winner was Callum Elson of Roundhay Runners in a time of 34:29, and first lady was Fiona Kesteven of Totley AC who crossed the finish line in a time of 39:55.
Eleven Striders were among the participants, and special mentions must go to Adam Brooks (6th overall) and Sheena Woodhead, who both finished in second place in their respective age categories. Congratulations to all!
