Race Date: Sunday 4th June 2017
This 10k offers participants a rare opportunity to run through the private Mulgrave estate close to Sandsend beach. It is an off road run on woodland trails that heads past the old castle and offers stunning views of the coast and Whitby Abbey.
There were 142 runners and the race was won by Jay Ferns of Loftus and Whitby/Manchester Uni in 36.02. The first woman home was Becky Briggs of Wetherby in 41.18. Two Striders were in attendance – well done to both.
