Race Date: Sunday 17th September 2017
Organised by Crystal Peaks Runners, Moss Valley Madness is a charity event, with all money collected from registrations and refreshments going towards their chosen charity/charities. This year money was being raised for a new wheelchair for local girl Olivia, who unfortunately suffers from a condition called Juvenile Batten Disease.
Setting out from Eckington School, this is a challenging trail race of approximately 10k around a beautiful backdrop of woodland… with a fantastic cake stall at the end!
84 people took part in the race that sunny morning – including 8 Striders. Well done to all! The race was won by Dave Reaney of Killamarsh Kestrels in 41.12 and the first lady home was Fiona Kesteven of Totley AC 45.33.
