Rock n Roll Liverpool entered into its fourth year and over 20000 people took part in the festival of running.
The marathon had 3009 runners including a few Striders. Ashleigh Barron smashed her way to a PB and was 4th lady overall, just missing out on a podium finish by a mere 120 seconds.
The race was won by Neil Smith on Anster Haddies/Crawley in 2.33.53. The first woman home was Sofia Mattiasson (unattached) in 2.57.29.
