Race Date: Sunday 30th April 2017
Located in the beautiful villages of Lea & Holloway, near Matlock, Derbyshire, the Lea Bunny 10k is an undulating road race on partially closed roads. Whilst the name suggests fluffiness, the route provides three killer hills as a challenge.
The 2017 winner was Mike Blair of Matlock AC who crossed the finish line in 38:22, and first lady was Hayley Gill (also of Matlock AC) in a time of 46:40.
Two Striders ventured into Derbyshire for the race. Fran Cummins finished as 4th lady (and 1st FSEN) in a time of 48:49, closely followed by Richard Pegg in 51:09.
