Race Dates: Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th March 2017
The Monsal Trail half. Lovely and scenic. What more could you want?
The race winner on Saturday was Thomas Beattyman of Hallamshire Harriers in a time of 1:18:26. The first lady was Caroline Warrington of York Knavemire Harriers in a time of 1:29:24.
On Sunday, the race winner was Simon Newton of Ackworth Road Runners in a time of 1:16:02. The first lady was Martha Haxby (unaffiliated), in a time of 1:22:14. Our very own Caroline Brock was 4th.
8 Striders took part over the 2 days. 351 runners took part on the Saturday, and 334 runners on the Sunday. Well done to all! Perhaps more will turn up in 2018.
