Race Date: Sunday 14th May 2017
The Holymoorside 10k is a tough road race in a beautiful location with over 700 feet of ascent in the first 4k. The final half of the race descends back into the village. Essentially it’s a loop out and up into the Peaks.
The winner of this year’s race was Colin Davenport of Matlock Athletic Club in 36:36. First lady was Helena Schofield of North Derbyshire RC in a time of 42:48.
330 runners finished the race, of which 8 were Striders. Well done one and all!
