Race Date: Wednesday 25th October 2017

This race kicked off the first in the season of the Urban Nights race series – which include an element of orienteering.

Long course (3 ‘tops’) 66min record and Medium Course (2 ‘tops’) sub 50min record.

‘A cracking race this year with a new V40 record of 66:34 from Paul Fauset, winning the race overall and just 4 seconds off the record.  Sally Fawcett won the ladies, apparently taking it easy but this time knowing where she was going, broke the female record yet again in a time of 77:13’.

Several other newcomers got a little lost but were in good spirits and at least came back in good time.

Two Striders were listed in the results as having tackled the long course, having tackled 17.7km according to Matt’s Strava route.  Well done!  Full results here.
