Race date: Sunday 6th August 2017
Gloucester City Marathon and for the first time a half marathon took place on a nice day in the rather attractive, not to say historic, Gloucester. The route took in swathes of delightful countryside, canals, and rivers. Some really impressive residences put in a brief appearance for the faster runners but the less meteoric (like me) had a little longer to admire the view.
676 runners took part with Chris Steele of Border Harriers making it to the lightship (sounds better than finish line) first in 1:12:14. Vicky Green was first woman home, in 1:29:01.

The Half and Full marathon results are in both .pdf and .xls form although I spotted a couple of minor typos so please take care with them. It is possible that other Striders took part, so please tell us if you ran.
