Race Date: 5th March

New this year, the East Midlands 10k is based at the National Water Sports Centre, 10 mins away from Nottingham City Centre.

A flat and fast two lap course set with minimal twists and turns, runners ran around the regatta lake and alongside the canoe slalom/white water rapids which is home to some of Great Britain’s Olympic athletes.

The race was won by Jimmy Kershaw (unattached) in 31.15 and Helen Baynham of Kington upon Hull AC was first lady home in 38.34.

Jude Stone donned his striders vest for the first time and was the only strider in attendance.
