Race Date: Wednesday 12th July 2017
387 Runners in total took part in the Doncaster 5k, 191 in the Open event and 196 in the Vets. The fast three lap course around the town centre provided an ideal opportunity for some quick running with several of the Striders in attendance coming away with new PBs.
The Open race was won by Graham Rush of Cheltenham & County Harriers in 14;19. The first woman home was Emma Clayton of Leeds City AC in 16:32. In the Vets event Anthony Whiteman of Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers finished first with a time of 16:05 with Jenny Blizard of Other Harriers taking the honours for the ladies with 17:36.
