Race date: Saturday 24th June 2017

This was the inaugural running of the Dambusters 10, organised by Peakrunners, a lovely 10-mile trail race which shares a starting line with the Ladybower Trail Marathon.  The course is a single loop of Derwent and Howden reservoirs, and starts and ends by the Derwent dam wall, near the Fairholmes Visitors Centre.

70 participants started the race, and the winner was Nick Hardy of Team Saucony and Team Accelerate in a time of 59:25. Winning lady was Deborah Lock in 1:15:50. First and only Strider home was Andrew Horan with a fantastic time of 1:12:14. Well done to all who ran.
