Race Date: Sunday 28th May 2017
345 runners for this year’s Buxton half including a good smattering of Striders. This is not what you would call a flat one with its total ascent of around 1508ft/460m. The race was won by Chris Oddy of Serpentine RC in 1.15.29, with our own Phil Skelton coming in in second place – well done Phil. The first woman home was Diane Mcvey of Wilmslow RC in 1.27.13. Jen Rich made it a double Striders podium finish as she grabbed 3rd place in the women’s race – great running Jen
