Pardon my ignorance but I know nothing about this event other than it’s in Ireland. Stuart Jones was the lone Strider in attendance and his one word (unusually brief for him) report was ‘indéanta’. I’ve looked it up and still none the wiser (here is indéanta meaning in English: feasible, impracticable, practicable) so here goes:
679 runners and the race was won by Michael Herlihy of North Cork AC in 1.11.31. The first woman home was Aoife Cooke of Youghal in 1.16.55.
