Race Date: Sunday 6th August 2017
Hosted by Worksop Leisure Centre and organised by Bassetlaw Triathlon Club, the Bassetlaw Sprint Triathlon incorporates 16 lengths of Worksop Leisure Centre pool, followed by a 21km ride on town and country roads before a 2 lap 5k run around the streets of Worksop.
The 2017 race was won in a combined time of 59:08 by Andy Tarry (North Derbyshire), and the first lady home was Amy Grocock of Britcon in 01:07:36. Steel City Striders were represented in both genders by Adrian Moss and Dawn Jackson, who completed the race in 01:24:30 and 01:36:00 respectively. Well done both!
