Race Date: Saturday 21st May 2016
The White Peak marathon is a tough event organised by Matlock AC in which about 170 runners took part this year. There is nearly 1300 feet of ascent over the course of the race.
The winner was Kevin Doyle of Kimberworth Striders in a time of 2:55:04. Winning lady was Claire Howard of Totley AC in a time of 3:24:21.
2 Striders took part – congratulations to both of you! John Swain smashed his previous time by 27 minutes and got 9th in his age category, which is a stunning performance.
