Race Date: Sunday 3rd April 2016
Sunday saw the 21st running of the Wakefield 10k, in aid of the Wakefield Hospice. A whopping 1657 runners took part including only 2 Striders. Well done to you both for your efforts. David Palmer finished 5th overall and won 1st place in his category – excellent performance.
The race was won by Matthew O’Connor of Wakefield District Harriers in 32.52. Jenny Latham made it a Wakefield District Harriers double, coming in as first woman in 36.25.
