Race Date: Monday 30th May 2016
The Vitality London 10,000 course has runners running along the Strand twice, at 1km and then again at 8km, The course also passes many of London’s famous sights including Admiralty Arch, Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House, the Bank of England, the Old Bailey, Somerset House, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
Many thousands of people ran the race including lone Strider, Rob Davies who scored a 10k PB at 45.06 and is now looking to breaking the 45 minute barrier on his next 10k. Well done Rob.
The race was won by Andrew Butchart of Central RC in 28.28. The first woman home was Lily Partridge of Aldershot & Farnham AC in 33.03.
