Race Date: Monday 18th July 2016
Phew, it was a hot one. 274 overheated souls braved this one and I bet they were happy of the refreshing river crossings this time round. Such a contrast to the shivering I suffered from at race 2 in April
Trunce 6 was won by David Lund of DPFR in 25.24. The first woman home was Ellie Crownshaw of Bradfield in 30.58. Well done to the 17 Striders in attendance and particularly to Ben, Steve, Gillian, Stacey, Rebecah and Sella on achieving PBs on such a hot day.
Remember, three more to go this year on 8th and 22nd August and the fancy dress season finale on 12th September.
