Race Date: Wednesday 17th February 2016

If you like a drink and a run then this is the race for you. Rules – 8 pubs to choose from but you must visit at least one of the 2 Sportsman pubs. Time 100 mins. You must drink Real Ales only. Double points for a pint, 50% points. Maximum 1 pint per pub.

There were 20 entrants and 7 of the were Striders – oh dear! However, the most pints drunk was 6 and the Striders were more reserved with just 2 and a half each. The winner of the ‘race’ was Tim Rutter who visited 7 pubs and had 6 pints gaining 410 points. The first woman was Kim Baxter who visited 5 pubs and consumed 3 and a half pints gaining 275 points.
